13th Annual Quincy Artsfest

Quincy Art Association Hosts Its Annual ArtsFest in September

For the 13th year the Quincy Art Association has the honor of hosting its annual Quincy ArtsFest. This family friendly event will be held on September 18th and 19th at One Merrymount Parkway in Quincy. Artists from in and around the South Shore and Boston proper will exhibit their artwork and photography in one of the most popular events on the South Shore. In addition to Members, Juried and Photography exhibits, the ArtsFest boasts the finest Young Artist exhibit. Entertainment, crafters, and kid's activities add to the excitement of the ArtsFest. This year a silent auction will be added to the event. The ArtsFest is free of charge and open to visitors from 10am - 5pm Saturday and 10am - 4:30pm on Sunday.

The quality of this show continues to develop year-to-year as evidenced by the participation and attendance. This is the first year the photography show will be juried which should make for a fine professional photography exhibit.

An invitation only awards reception will be held on Friday, September 17th to honor the participating artists and the following morning an awards reception will be held for the young artists and their families.
